As a Homebuilder, HVAC Technician, Electrician, Plumber, or Craftsperson, you understand the importance of home building to the vitality of our community. We have a labor shortage, and we need to act now to ensure our industry remains healthy for years to come. Municipal and City School Districts now offer Building Construction Technology curriculums. It is a free program that is open to all student's male, female regardless of ethnicity or religion.

WHAT IS THIS PROGRAM?
Municipal and City School Districts are teaching the Home Builders Institute’s national curriculum: PACT (Pre Apprenticeship Certificate Training). While completing their standard high school coursework, students enrolled in the PACT program will also learn:
• FUNDAMENTAL BUSINESS & WORKPLACE SOFT SKILLS
• TECHNICAL CERTIFICATES IN ESSENTIAL BUILDING PRACTICES
• SPECIALIZED CERTIFICATES IN THE FIELD OF THEIR CHOICE, INCLUDING: PLUMBING, HVAC, CARPENTRY AND ELECTRICAL WIRING.
BEYOND THE CLASSROOM, STUDENTS WILL:
• WORK IN THE FIELD DURING INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
• ENGAGE WITH CURRENT INDUSTRY LEADERS SERVING AS MENTORS
• EARN A WAGE AND APPRECIATION FOR OUR INDUSTRY.
